Hello! We are a small but vibrant tennis club located in the heart of Writtle Village. We are a friendly and welcoming tennis club that provides competitive matches, coaching and social tennis all year round for players of all ages and abilities. We are a very social club with organised trips to Wimbledon and annual holidays... we are always looking for new members!


Writtle Tennis Club was established in the early 1960's and now has 4 floodlit all weather hard courts. We are lucky to be located in a peaceful, unoverlooked area giving us unrestricted times on our floodlights. Our floodlights are some of the best in the area and provide an excellent all year round facility. The club and courts can be found within Writtle Sports and Social Club at the end of Paradise Road just off Lodge Road, Writtle. The courts are located passed the club house behind the brand new 4G football pitch (also floodlit). Inclusive in the membership is access to the clubhouse and sports bar!
