To some it's a pub, others a hotel. Situated at the heart of the village of Winchcombe near Cheltenham, this ‘restaurant with rooms’ (there are 11) is the perfect place if you love walking, visiting Cheltenham races or just want a lazy few days.

Each of the 8 en-suite rooms are individually styled and some have feature beds. 3 stylish rambler rooms with a shared luxury bathroom make an ideal family suite.
Just a few metres away from the inn you will find the scenic Cotswold Way and Gloucestershire Way footpaths. The Inn is also very popular with cyclists, there's even a hosepipe for washing down muddy bikes.

Eat

We are passionate about real food the great and simple British dishes that we grew up with. Ingredients are carefully sourced and wherever possible we use local and regional farmers, growers, fishermen, brewers and even winemakers.

Usually traditional, sometimes classic with a modern twist , the ‘Wine & Sausage’ restaurant at the White Hart Inn has been refurbished and decorated in keeping with the history and style of the Inn Occupying the ground floor with a cosy bar, wine shop and dining rooms the joys of the English summer can be experienced on the south-facing patio and garden benches whilst in winter log fires roar.

Drink

Well, you may have guessed by now but we do have a bit of a thing about wine. Not only do we offer over 20 wines by the glass, all carefully tasted, tested and selected (it’s a tough job but someone has got to do it) but there are over 100 wines to select from by the bottle.

All wines are available to buy to take away from as little as £5.95. The same wine can be enjoyed in the bar or restaurant with a nominal corkage charge. As a result, you can save up to 65% of the price charged for the same wines in other top restaurants.

Early evening wine tastings for hotel guests and diners can be arranged, just please give us 24 hours’ notice. But it is not all about the wine. Our cosy bar is well stocked with a choice of local ales and ciders.
