Cheltenham Ballroom Company Information
General information
Cheltenham Ballroom, was previously named County Dancing School Gloucestershire and has been established since 2008. Principal teacher is Natassia Overthrow. We teach from complete beginners who have never managed a dance step, to dancers wishing to compete in medalist and open competitions. We also offer medal exams. The dance school is friendly, lively and supportive, we organise monthly social events throughout the season, which runs from September to July, with a break in August.
We are also available for professional demos, corporate events & wedding dance choreography, ie couples first dance.
The classes are Beginners, Next Steps & Intermediate. We teach the 5 Ballroom dances Waltz, Quickstep, Tango, Foxtrot and Viennese, and 5 Latin dances Cha cha cha, Rumba, Jive, Samba and Paso Doble, plus alternative dances Salsa, Merengue and Bachata, Argentine Tango.
Zumba StepZ classes are also available.
