General information
Mind BLMK has been supporting people with mental health problems for over 40 years. During this period, the organisation has grown from some small befriending groups to a range of information, advice, support and campaigning projects across Bedfordshire, Luton and Milton Keynes.
We support over 2000 people each year, with support ranging from informal peer support groups to short-term counselling, 1:1 mentoring to older people's services.
Mind BLMK is an independent local charity, managed and governed by local trustees, but we are also part of the Mind national network. This gives us the benefits of being part of a national network, sharing knowledge and skills, whilst retaining the local focus and working directly with and for the people of Bedfordshire, Luton and Milton Keynes
