We deliver across the country from our modern fully equipped factory in Kent working with national and regional house builders; building contractors; builders merchants and self builders.

From our manufacturing facility in Canterbury, Kent, UK and Arklow, Ireland, we are able to supply and deliver our timber frames, timber roof trusses and metal web joists throughout the UK and Ireland.

Timber Roof Trusses by Harmony Timber Solutions – Sustainable Engineering with Timber

Harmony Timber Solutions’ timber roof trusses (or trussed rafters) provide a structured framework to support the roof fabric, ceilings and/or floors.

We can provide roof trusses for any project including extensions, new builds, residential developments and commercial project.

The timber roof trusses are individually designed components made from strength graded timber joined together with steel nail plates and use 40% less timber than traditional cut and pitched roofs. In fact, timber roof trusses are now used within 95% of new build roof structures.

The flexibility of these components is undoubtedly what sets them apart from other methods of construction in this area. Our modern design software allows the trussed rafter to be designed for virtually any roof shape.

From the simplest of gable structures to the most complicated of “room in the roof” attic rooms, they are able to offer a fully engineered, cost effective solution to almost any roof.

“Room in the roof” type trusses are becoming increasingly popular, as they are the most economical solution to adding rooms to your new home. They can increase the habitable area by up to 40% at very little extra cost to the overall roof.

Timber trussed rafters can be used on a wide range of building types including timber frame, masonry and steel frame.

Using the very latest in 3D roof design our designers in Kent are among the few in the UK who can design to the new EC5 regulations to give you the best most efficient roof design possible. We can sit down with architect/client at the design stage to ensure a workable solution can be achieved.

We provide clear and accurate drawings together with technical guides with every order.

Our Kent office is manned 8am – 5pm weekdays for all your support requirements.

All of our trusses are fully engineered and full calculations are included in all of our designs upon request, saving you time and money on engineering input.

Trusses use up to 40% less timber than a cut and pitch roof and will also span much greater distances; one of the main factors as to why trussed rafters provide an ideal solution to roofing commercial buildings.

We are fully approved by the TRA so all of our products go through the strict TRA and CE marking tests, meaning only the best quality trussed rafters reach you.

Prefabricated roofs can be constructed far quicker than cut and pitch timber roofs, Trussed rafters require minimal cutting or fixing and full detailed drawings are provided to ensure fast, reliable and accurate erection.

With superior fabrication underpinned by high production standards they are more flexible and more cost effective than many other methods of roof construction.

As a result of the trusses being manufactured in our Kent based factory, there is less waste to be disposed of from site meaning less cost for waste removal.

We carry Full Professional Indemnity insurance up to £3m.

Our design team are also on hand every step of your build from site visits if required to a simple phone call or email.
