General information
Founded in 1942 by Muriel Hasland, the Hasland Dance Studios is one of Kent's longest running and best known dance schools. Seventy-three years after the school was founded, we have just been named Dance School of the Year 2015 out of the whole of the UK, have expanded into a teacher training college offering dance teaching qualifications up to Foundation degree level, and are currently one of just a very small number of schools in Kent to hold 'Recognised School Status' with the Council of Dance Education and Training, reflecting our high standards of dance education as well as our commitment to the safety of our students.
We believe that every child deserves the chance to dance! With classes from age 2½ to adults, in Ballet, Modern, Tap, Street and Musical Theatre, we have something to suit everybody. We offer free taster classes in all our dance styles, so whether you would like to book your child in to try a class, or just come in to meet our friendly team and have a look around our studios, we would love to hear from you!
