General information
Based in Canterbury, Kent, Dr Matthew Brewer is the founder and head instructor of Daoist Internal Arts and is a full time internal arts teacher. He is a Registered Instructor with the Tai Chi Union of Great Britain and one of the most qualified B.K. Frantzis Energy Arts instructors in the UK. He is one of only three instructors in the UK with level 2 qualifications from master Frantzis in the Short and Long forms of the Wu Style of Tai Chi (the other two are senior instructors Brian Cooper and Jamie Dibden).
He holds a PhD in Theology and Religious Studies from the University of Kent at Canterbury where for many years he taught Chinese Philosophy part-time on the M.A. in Mysticism and Religious Experience and the M.A. in Cosmology and Divination.
He is the designer, coordinator and head instructor of the Tai Chi for Chronic Pain Service for Kent Community Health NHS Trust.
