General information

Graham Slee has over 40 years experience of electronic design working in AV and broadcast audio, and freelancing before founding Graham Slee Projects. His broadcast amplifiers are still in use today, and he was trusted by YRN PLC to design and prototype broadcast mixing desks for Bush House London, for BBC World Services. At the same time Graham was working on the BBC mixing desks, John Cadman was cabling Bush House, and he now brings his extensive knowledge to GSPs high performance interconnect and speaker cable offerings.

Graham Slee Projects announced its first phono amp a budget unit that out-performed many, more expensive competitors, in 1999, and this was developed over the years to become the Gram Amp 2 and 2SE. Encouraged by their critical reception, a high end phono amp was produced, the Era Gold, using wideband technology. The Era Gold V was praised in the US by Stereophiles Michael Fremer as having miraculous performance.

The same reception was given to GSPs first headphone amp, the Solo, and like the Era Gold V, this has been refined and improved to give the current flagship product the Solo Ultra Linear Diamond Edition.

Demonstrating just how great his understanding on which electronic designs deliver the best musicality is, he even beat his own best, the Era Gold V, with his Reflex M phono stage. Stereophile's Michael Fremer concluding "the Reflex M smoked the older Slee in every meaningful way".

Current developments include a recent launch of a small, but potent and refined mono-block amplifier the Proprius, with a pre-amp and DACs in the pipeline. Also new cable principles have been incorporated in the top of the range Lautus interconnect, and there is a new speaker cable, the Spatia, to complete the range.
