General information

Phoenix UAV Centre is a specialist UAS/RPAS training and UAS services company. We have significant experience in all varieties of rotary wing SUA (Small Unmanned Aircraft). Our staff have a combined experience of more than 30 years in Rotary SUA of all kinds, both multi-rotor and single rotor systems and powered by all available propulsion options including electric, nitro, petrol and turbine.

We are fully insured and all our aircraft have been independently assessed for airworthiness, our instructors are qualified under the CAA approved Light UAS Scheme™ We offer experienced contract UAS/RPAS pilots for client operations and "On the job" training and have been contracted to complete various projects ranging from building developments, general aerial work, firework displays and various tasks for the BBC and other television production companies.

We carry accreditation from EuroUSC™ as an independent flight school providing training for the Basic National UAS Certificate – Small Unmanned Aircraft (BNUC-S™).

The BNUC-S™ is the preferred pilot qualification standard required by many National Aviation Authorities before a Permission for Aerial Work or Exemption is granted to an operator.
