Ashworth Parkes Architects Ltd is a multiple award winning RIBA registered architectural practice based in Cambridge UK. It was founded in 2008 when the two directors Emma Parkes and Jeremy Ashworth built their own home on a tiny plot in central Cambridge. This project then led onto more commissions for their designs and the business has steadily grown into a six person practice primarily involved in be-spoke architectural designs for the residential and commercial sectors. The practice moved into their Dales Brewery offices in 2014.We offer design services from feasibility to completion for a range of building types. Our core market is residential design work. We work with individual clients on extending their homes as well as new build dwellings. We also work with developers on residential housing schemes. We specialise in be-spoke exciting innovative and sustainable designs and within this scope we also advise on interior finishes and be-spoke furniture and kitchen designs. Ashworth Parkes Architects Ltd do not have a house style as we prefer to develop our ideas in conjunction with our clients to reach a design that they are happy and excited about. We do however pride ourselves on our high level of service and the success of our completed projects is testament to this.In partnership with our clients consultants and contractors we strive to realise work that is resource efficient pragmatic and original. The practice objective is to create distinct and relevant architecture with the starting point resting within the unique context and specific conditions of the individual project. Taking an active approach the office is involved throughout the whole process from developing the early sketch to the on-site supervision.We are committed to designing projects that meet the highest expectations of our clients and the highest design standards of economy efficiency and quality.
