General information
As part of the Scouting ethos we particularly aim to build confidence and life skills in the young people of Shirley and Solihull, through fun and physically and mentally challenging activities.
We organise and promote a wide range of outdoor adventure activities such as archery, walking, climbing, orienteering, mountain biking, canoeing, sailing, skiing, swimming and of course camping. We have been running as a group for over 90 years and currently have about 200 members and 35 leaders. The group is split into 9 sections catering for boys and girls from 6 to 18 years old.
