Welcome to our school

It gives me great pleasure to introduce you to Monkspath Junior & Infant School.

Ours is a highly successful and popular school which enjoys a long-standing tradition for being ambitious, open, friendly and immensely caring. We consider ourselves to be a family.

As a staff we are a strong and dedicated team who work closely together to meet the individual needs of each and every one of our children.

Our school values underpin all that we do in school. Our values are the foundation for how we work together, how we support children’s development and progress in all areas of the curriculum, and how we nurture relationships and personal development.

We aspire great things for our children and promote excellence, not only in core subjects but also through a wide range of rich experiences which enhance learning in the National Curriculum and beyond. We make learning fun, stimulating, challenging and hugely rewarding.

We are so very proud of our children’s achievements and their attitude to learning. They are bright and enthusiastic and enjoy the great variety of opportunities that school life offers.

Frequent praise from our families and receiving secondary schools tells us how well equipped our children are, both academically and socially, to make the very best of the opportunities and challenges that lie ahead.
