General information

We offer the following free services:
1. One to one counselling- offered to female and male survivors and their supporters, open 7 days a week. Women only, outreach and children's counselling too.
2. Social groups- where survivors can mix with other survivors and take part in activities to improve confidence and well-being, such as tai chi; yoga; trips out etc
3. Advocacy-supporting children and adults with crisis support including when they have reported to the Police (or are thinking of doing so.) Report is offered from reporting, all the way up to court. Offered by a team of independent sexual violence advocates (ISVA/s).
4. Helpline- emotional support and information over the telephone, open at different times. 24 hour answer phone.
5. Visual Evidence for Victims- we can take photos of injuries caused by sexual violence so that if you want to report to the Police the photos can be used as evidence, anytime up to six years after they have been taken.
6. Written self help information- on issues such as self harm, how to support a survivor of sexual abuse and post trauma stress etc
7. Specialised one to one counselling and group support for refugee and asylum seeker survivors.
8. Coffee morning focusing on building self coping strategies.
9. Training and education- to increase awareness about sexual abuse and violence.

All our services are free, however we can also offer private counselling for survivors who are able to pay for support. Please ask for more information.
