The Flame Community Church

General information

Welcome to The Flame Community Church Blackheath. A joint Elim Pentecostal and Assemblies of God (AOG) Church, two organisations that shape the way that we run. The Church was formed in 2003 when the AOG Church that met in Beeches Road and the Elim Church that met in Cardale Street decided to merge and become one. The new church choose to be affiliated to both AOG and Elim which puts us in quite a unique position and reflects our committment to unity of the church. We are able to call on resources and experience from each organisation which has helped to shape the church into what it is today.

We currently meet at the Cardale Street building. However, we still own the building in Beeches Road and it allows us to carry out various community activities and events which otherwise we would not be able to do.

Our vision is that the Flame Community Church will be at the heart of community, visible and active bringing transformation, regeneration and hope in all aspects of life.
