Sarah Varela learnt Reiki Jin Kei Do in 1998, set up a practice in Colchester in 2003 and became a Reiki Master in 2006. She currently teaches at The Trinity Natural Health Centre in Colchester town centre.
Reiki Jin Kei Do includes the teachings of Buddhist healing monks and is a spiritual lineage emphasising the practice of Reiki with meditation to really sense the flow of energy and open the heart with compassion. As well as a healing method, Reiki can become a way of life.
