The Jason's Cradle® MOB system is the world leading personnel retrieval system. Used globally throughout the maritime sector by military and commercial operators, rescue services and coast guards the Jason’s Cradle is the first name in MOB equipment in the commercial shipping world.
Manufactured in Great Britain the Jason’s Cradle has Lloyd’s Register SOLAS type approval. The Jason’s Cradle is incredibly robust and reliable. All units are supplied with a three year manufacturer’s warrantee.

Jason's Cradle® is designed to retrieve people quickly and horizontally from the water, thus reducing the possibilities of “dry drowning” now more commonly known as Circum Rescue Collapse. The Jason's Cradle® not only ensures the horizontal lift but also allows crews to achieve the safest and speediest retrieval for conscious or unconscious casualties.

Using the Jason’s Cradle® man overboard recovery system enables the retrieval of casualties who are unable to assist themselves due to injury, fatigue or high freeboard.

The Miracle on The Hudson on January 15th 2009 is perhaps the proudest moment in our products history. It is certainly the most high profile.
Sully depicts the events of that day including the use of the Jason’s Cradle by the New York Waterway Ferry crews. Their fast action and the use of our specialist personnel retrieval system ensured that there were zero casualties and that all 155 souls were saved. In cinemas now!

How do I determine the type & size of Jason's Cradle® to suit my vessel?

The Standard unit is suitable for most vessels with up to 5m freeboard and is offered in three width options.

The FRC Kit is suitable for all Fast Rescue Craft and RIBS and is offered in two width options. Supplied with hypalon patches for inflatables or stainless steel pad eyes for hard hulls.

The Rescue Stretcher unit is suitable for high sided vessels, diver recovery and quayside rescue and is offered in two sizes.

The Scramble Net is suitable for high sided vessels, larger rescue zones and mass recovery/evacuation.

Our Bespoke Service offers the flexibility to meet all your requirements by tailoring the Jason's Cradle® man over board system to suit any vessel where the dimensions are outside the above provision of stock units.
