David James Architects are an award winning, Dorset based architectural practice specialising in residential, commercial and interior design.

David James qualified as a chartered Architect in South Africa, and has practiced in England for the past 20 years. David James Architects was established in 2009 and have since been at the forefront of architectural design in the south of England.

We pride ourselves in creating bespoke design solutions to each unique project brief. We work closely with the client and provide a comprehensive design service, from the initial site appraisal, concept design and planning approval, through to Building Regulations, detailed design features and an interior design service. We have a dedicated 3d visualisation team, enabling the client to become truly engaged with the design process. Our interior design skills allow kitchens, bathrooms and other internal spaces to come alive and work with the building’s design language.

David James Architects are a young and dynamic practice. We have a reputation for creating thoughtful, versatile design solutions, without being bound to a prescribed design style. Our projects range from one-off bespoke contemporary houses in Sandbanks, to commercial projects, office developments and traditional housing schemes.
