General information

Isan Thai is Park Gates newest Thai restaurant and takeaway. This family run business is run by local man Phil Milton and his wife Pornthip.

Pornthip is from North East Thailand known as the Isan region in the province of Udon Thani. She has grown up cooking Thai food for friends and family and is passionate about producing good old fashioned home cooked dishes of restaurant quality.

All the dishes are freshly prepared and cooked by Pornthip and her team.
Along with the typical Isan selection of foods which she trusts you will like, the menu also provides a selection of traditional Thai foods that you may be more familiar with.

Thailand is made up of four distinct regions: the South, the Centre, North eastern Isan and Northern Thailand. They all have different backgrounds, different food traditions, and different ingredients that they have access to that have formed the cuisine.

In the Isan region on the streets of Udon Thani where Pornthip comes you will find street food vendors selling these delicious meals, that she has reproduced for you to enjoy!
