The Westby Guest House

General information

The Westby is a family run guest house close to the sea and shops in Boscombe. Duncan and Anne provide a friendly welcome that will make your stay feel like a home from home. A short 5 minute walk will take you to the beach where you can find cafes, bars and shops, surfing, various outside sports activities and the pier. The Promenade runs for 5 miles from Hengistbury Head to Bournemouth and onto Sandbanks, alongside the golden sandy beaches. You can stroll, cycle or catch the land train on the majority of this. Boscombe boasts many independent, eclectic local businesses, with cafes and vintage shops, weekly farmers market and the O2 Academy, sitting alongside the more typical large retail chains.
A short taxi or bus ride will take you into the larger seaside resort town of Bournemouth for more retail therapy, cinemas and the BIC.
Further afield lies Christchurch Priory, Mudeford Quays and Hengistbury Head Nature Reserve, Poole Quay, Sandbanks, The New Forest and the stunning Jurassic Coast.
