The Reside Stour Road Care Home is situated at 14 Stour Road, Christchurch, in a pleasant residential area, within easy walking access to Christchurch Station (main line from London, Waterloo), bus and taxi services.

The Home works closely with social workers from the Royal Bournemouth, Poole and Christchurch Hospitals to enable the easiest transition possible.

Residents also benefit from regular visits from professionals including: chiropodist, dentist, hairdresser, optician, leaders and visitors from various religious denominations.

Accommodation Offered:

Twenty Bedrooms which are large and well appointed
Residents are encouraged to bring their own personal items of furniture and wall coverings to make their room familiar and their own
All bedrooms have an emergency call system, TV and Telephone point
All bedrooms with en suite toilet and basin. Some rooms also have showers

The Home provides two bathrooms especially designed to cater for the needs of the elderly infirm
Large Conservatory and beautiful all weather garden
Cosy Lounge/Dining room
Lift to the second floor
Excellent and appropriate cuisine to suit individual needs

Programme Includes:

Frequent walking/wheelchair trips out to local coffee shops, newsagents, park and local area
Encouraging residents to help with any of the services provided by the home such as baking, flower arranging and gardening
Arts and Crafts are provided according to the ability of the residents, these include puzzles, games, drawing and pasting, Music, Sing-alongs, etc.
There is a monthly visit from children at Tops Day Nurseries where children and residents can participate in an activity together.
TV, books and magazines may all be enjoyed by all
