The Ironing Shop provides customers a variety of services both on the premises and our collection/delivery service.

We aim to provide a reliable, efficient, professional, affordable, friendly and convenient service. Most of the services are carried out by people specifically trained in that area. We are certainly not "jack of all trades, masters of none". Currently we offer the following:
Dry Cleaning
Laundry - Iron, Wash & Iron, Wash, Dry & Fold.
Alterations & Repairs - clothing and holdhold items such as curtains
Key Cutting & Shoe Repair available spring 2016

With very convenient opening hours and weekday evening collection and delivery service we are unrivalled within the area.

The Dry Cleaners have been in their trades for many years and have been trained to very high standard. Stain removal isn't easy with so many different types of fabric mixes and types of stains. Most stains can be removed but it could be done to the determent of the garment if the wrong process is used. Our Cleaners see pressing as just as important as stain removal. They want every item to leave the shop in pristine condition.

The in-house Tailoress has been doing her trade for many years and like the cleaners will do her utmost to give you what you need. From replacing buttons and minor seem repairs to making an entire outfit from scratch.

The in-house laundry team are dedicated to washing and ironing. This service is intended to give a professional finish at affordable prices. With a shirt ironed from only £1 we cannot spend 10 minutes ironing it! However we turn around huge quantities of ironing which means two things, we are good at it(otherwise we wouldn't get the ironing) but we are also much quicker than the average person.

Key Cutting and Shoe repair will soon be available. The local cobbler is retiring and we want to still give the customers this service.
