Connect Reading is the business community partnership for Reading. We broker and manage partnerships between the business, public and voluntary sector with the simple aim of creating a better quality of life for all in the Greater Reading area.

We have an innovative, cross-sector approach to in-kind support rather than fundraising, and provide businesses insight into local priorities with personalised advice, information and guidance on ways businesses can help the community.

Our high profile projects include:
• The Eggscellent Easter Egg Appeal
• The Giving Tree at Christmas
• Reading RESCUE - the environmental clean-up event in Spring and Autumn
• The Pride of Reading Awards

We provide information and expertise on community involvement opportunities for organisations of all sizes, and support our corporate members in the delivery of their corporate responsibility objectives.

We also work closely with our members within Reading charities and local voluntary organisations to identify projects that need business support with time, resources or skills, and to match them with the appropriate business.

Companies of all sizes support CONNECT READING, which provides its members with connections and information that enables them to use their skills and expertise to make a real difference to the local community.
