READING Düsseldorf Association Company Information
General information
We're a voluntary organisation in Reading (England) devoted to promoting and developing friendship between the peoples of Reading and Düsseldorf in Germany.
Reading and Düsseldorf have had close links since 1947, just after the end of the Second World War, when the Mayor of Reading, Phoebe Cusden, visited Düsseldorf to see conditions, organised help, and invited children to stay in Reading.
Our friendship has continued and grown ever since, and it is probably the oldest relationship between British and German cities.
In 2017 we are celebrating 70 years of partnership and friendship. This Facebook page will provide a link to our forthcoming events.
