General information
Graft Thames Valley is a charity that supports people from disadvantaged backgrounds and/or with disabilities or other complex needs into employment, training and other work-related activities.
We aim to eradicate barriers to employment by providing tailored support, information, advice and guidance to meet the needs, ability and aspirations of each individual. We work with our clients on a one-to-one basis, setting agreed SMART objectives for the client to achieve and improve their employability; adopting a holistic and "stepping stone" approach to progress them into employment.
We focus on 'ability' not 'disability'. We can research and source suitable courses, training, voluntary work opportunities, work-experience placements and job vacancies. We also work with employers to create sustainable work opportunities and support clients to retain their employment.
Graft has been providing employment support services to people in the Thames Valley since 2004. We are currently funded through the Big Lottery Fund Reaching Communities Programme. We are pleased to offer our unique services free of charge to individuals with no time constraints.
