GB Labs design and manufacture Space, a range of storage solutions specifically designed for the media industry.
Space was originally developed to go beyond the restrictions of SAN systems and re-invent NAS as the primary choice of the media industry. We looked to improve on the cost and complexity of installing a Fibre Channel or iSCSI network and exceed the performance and scalability of other systems.
GB Labs has put together a complete range of storage and archiving products. The range covers Tier 1 (online), Tier 2 (nearline), Tier 3 (archiving) and a new categorization, Super Tier 1, which covers a range of pure SSD shared storage. The Space SSD Ultra is now the fastest shared storage on the planet, delivering over 6000MB per second to the network, making it ideal for demanding 4K and even 8K workflows.
