Established in 1710, Parsons Jewellers stands as one of England’s oldest. A devoted family institution, Parsons’ craft has been entrusted through seven generations, at the heart of city of Bristol. Through four timeless centuries the family has served loyal customers, we celebrate its 21st century renaissance as 1710 Parsons.
Built when Britain became “Great” this family institution shares its centuries with two English pioneers who were first spirited by the romance of adventure.
Through fearless ventures, pioneers Cecil Rhodes and Barney Barnato unwittingly wrote a shared history of heart and bearing during South Africa’s diamond rush. Their combined mining partnership built an unrivalled diamond enterprise in 1888.
Today, 1710 Parsons’ jewellery is also partnered with diamonds tailored by our master cutter. His finish, ‘hearts and arrows’, is the pedigree of 35 years’ experience.
