Admissions
It comprises the main school and sports hall together with Charnwood House, the Cotham part of the North Bristol Post 16 Centre, which was refurbished and opened in 2007. Prior to 2007, Cotham School had its own sixth form.
In 2008, the school was the most oversubscribed in Bristol, with 3.7 applicants making it their first choice for every available place. Buildings
The school is on a split site comprising buildings from Georgian (Charnwood House) through to modern (Science Art and Technology buildings completed in July 2010). The main school building on Cotham Lawn Road was completed in 1931 and is a local iconic structure.
The school completed refurbishment of their main hall in September 2011, this included installation of retractable tiered seating and professional audio / visual and lighting equipment. The hall now provides a fully functional multi use space, which can be used for assemblies, teaching and performances.
