General information

Since 1989 we have provide long-term counselling to support women who are recovering from childhood sexual abuse. as the service has grown we have added in crisis counselling, telephone and online counselling. in 2016 we opened our 3 outreach locations in Coalville, Hinckley and Loughborough.

On average we are contacted by 250+ woman a year who need our help.

All of our counsellors are volunteers. They work in a variety of modalities which Psychodynamic, Person Centred, Integrative and Humanistic. We not only have fully qualified counsellors but also take on students who are accumulating their hours to complete their qualification. All counsellors adhere to the BACP ethical guidelines

Our service is charged based on income. We are dependent on finding significant additional funding throughout the year from other sources.
