Bear Care

General information

Bear Care day nurseries, located in Nottinghamshire at Arnold, Carlton and Stapleford and in Leicestershire at Thurmaston, have been a family run business for nearly 30 years. Originally established in 1984, we have grown and developed to cater for the numerous changes in the child care field. We pride ourselves in offering children time and space to explore, experiment and develop at their own pace by giving them a range of experiences to promote language development, reading, writing and numeracy skills. We encourage children to take the opportunity to make new friends and learn the social and educational skills they need to draw upon in later life.

All four of our nurseries are easily accessible and conveniently open from 7:30am to 6:00pm, Monday to Friday. We cater for children aged 3 months to 11 years. The nurseries are organized into sections that accommodate the individual needs of the children. We have areas caring for babies, young toddlers, older toddlers, pre-school and our out-of-school club.

At Bear Care we work in partnership with parents and carers on making the transition for parents returning to work, and children starting nursery, as smooth as possible. Our fully qualified and experienced staff are always willing to listen and give time and advice. After all, working together will lead to us becoming an even better childcare provider.

We believe that we maintain the very highest standard of daycare and pre-school education and always aim to promote an inspired, creative and caring environment.
