So what is racketball?

Well it is now the UK’s fastest growing sport !!

It’s said that racketball is easy to play, hard to master. It’s similar to squash and is played on a normal squash court, the only differences being that you use a shorter racket and a bigger and bouncier ball. The ball does not need warming up and due to its size is much slower than a squash ball. This combined with a shorter racket, making hand eye coordination easier, makes the ball much easier to strike giving longer rallies. UK-Racketball - "Promoting racketball in the UK"

UK-Racketball was set up by Mark Fuller and Will Bennett in 2009 to promote the sports of racketball and squash. In creating a new organisation the last thing we wanted to be was another faceless internet site so we thought we would keep you in the picture of what we do and what are hoping UK-Racketball will become. Please check out the "about us" section on the website to find out a little more about each of us, including Marks "Life of a professional squash player" blog, and how we think the company should be run and what we plan to achieve in the future.

There are three main sections to UK-Racketball, these are the information website, The Harrow UK Racketball Series and the online shop.

The Website

www.uk-racketball.com is a free online information source for all issues relating to racketball. The site contains information on all up and coming racketball tournaments in the UK, coaching tips, pages on where to play and how to play, Interviews with top players, latest ranking lists and is the home of the UK-RB series.

The Series

UK-Racketball set up and ran the UK-Racketball Series in 2010. The Series is officially endorsed by England Squash and Racketball and allows national ranking points to be claimed. Due to its success in 2010 the 2011 Series has expanded to include 8 venues all over the UK. A beginners grade has also been added to help promote all levels of the sport from grass roots through to the elite.
