Wortley Hall is a premier accommodation, conference and banqueting venue ideally located for both Sheffield and Barnsley. It couldn’t be located more conveniently within a 5 minute drive from junctions 35a and 36 from the M1 with over 80 complimentary, secure parking spaces and two mainline stations within 10 miles. As the perfect base for South Yorkshire and North Yorkshire, and ideally situated for Sheffield and the Peak District, Wortley Hall boasts a traditional and welcoming environment with equal appeal to both business and leisure guests.

All 49 en-suite bedrooms offer safes, hardwire internet. The meeting room facilities are first class, and the decor has been carefully maintained and sympathetic to the original features of the house. All meeting rooms have natural daylight and can accommodate anything from 2 to 175 delegates. Free WI-FI is available in the lounge, reception and bar area

Wortley Hall is a non for profit organisation and is steeped in rich history - originally the ancestral home of the Earls of Wharncliffe, the Lords of the Manor of Wortley. A sweeping driveway from the village of Wortley leads you to the magnificent 26 acres of Gardens, laid out in an Italianate style enjoying magnificent views through the vale of Worsborough and beyond.

Established as an Education / Recreation Centre in 1951 and since that time has operated on co-operative principles.

Any operating surplus is spent on the Hall either in maintenance or development.
