To be able to compete in 2Weeks2Make It as a filmmaker, all you need to be is a member of the SYFN, which costs £30/year (£20 for students) and includes admission to the 2W2MI Industry Day, the year-long 'Directions' training course, continual admission to Shooters in the Pub networking events, Showroom Shorts screenngs, unlimited postings in our bulletins, one-to-one advisory sessions with the Syfn and more!
For musicians, the fee is only £75 to take part. For this, you also get access to all of the above plus you get a music video made for and with you! Bargain, big style!

Some important points and info:
- Do not send us a video you have already made or are planning to make with a band/filmmaker that you already have plans with.2Weeks2Make It videos get made during the 2week period that we set and you are randomly matched with a band/filmmaker. This Is Really Important.
- The base for the competition is in Sheffield but competitors can be from anywhere at all!
- Dates for this year's competition:
* Applications Live: Friday 27th January, 2017
* Applications Due: Friday 27th March, 2017
* Launch EVENT/INDUSTRY Day: 31st March, 2017
* 2Week Production Period: Friday 31/03/17 until 14/04/17
* Gala Awards Competition Screening: Sunday 30th April, 2017
Remember, 2Weeks2Make It is a collaborative exercise and something that people work on together - you do not just hand your song to a filmmaker and say 'see you in two weeks'. No. Its a learning experience and a creative exercise that musicians and filmmakers work on together!
