General information

The Sheffield United Community Foundation is a charity working in the areas of sport participation, education, health and social inclusion. Its key aim is to build links between the football club and the community using the appeal of football and sport in general.

Sport is a highly motivational tool and can encourage, motivate and inspire individuals regardless of background to achieve their potential.

Our programmes are aimed at developing personal skills, improving academic achievement and enhancing employability that will result in a more active,healthy, educated, respectful and integrated society in Sheffield.

Our team have a range of skills, experience and backgrounds and are totally committed to Sheffield United as a family and community club. We continue to grow and develop, seeking to introduce new projects and programmes to enhance our community vision.

As a football club we engage with a wide range of different communities and we seek to embrace opportunities to contribute to efforts being made to encourage social cohesion.

Football might be for Saturdays but community is for 7 days a week, 52 weeks of the year.
