Solar-Active/Schools & Homes Energy Education Project manufacturers a unique, flexible photovoltaic (PV) cell, which has significant output in diffuse light conditions. The cells are used in the manufacture of our solar educational kits and to enrich our education approach. Our solar energy resources were recommended by the Qualifications and Curriculum Development Agency in 2009 as an inspired engineering curriculum activity, to quote- “cross-subject engineering project helped pupils to transfer knowledge and skills between different subject areas [to encourage young people to enter careers in engineering], resulting in a high quality final product”.
