Sheffield Volunteer Centre is part of Voluntary Action Sheffield, supporting the voluntary and community sector in Sheffield to be vibrant, effective and influential.

We provide information, advice and support to people who would like to volunteer, running a drop-in service (Monday - Wednesday from 10am - 4pm) helping people to get started with volunteering, and finding them a suitable volunteering opportunity.
We also support organisations who want to develop volunteering opportunities and volunteering programmes, and can work with employers who are supporting their employees to volunteer.
We encourage and develop good practice in volunteer involvement, so that volunteering is open to everyone and is a positive and beneficial experience for all. We also deliver specialist training in volunteer management.
Sheffield Volunteer Centre is accredited by Volunteering England.
