About Us:

The Mind Management Programme which is at the core of our practice was developed by Prof. Steve Peters and outlined in his book 'The Chimp Paradox'. Prof. Peters is a Consultant Psychiatrist and Undergraduate Dean at Sheffield University Medical School. He has been a vital cog in one of the country’s greatest stories of modern sporting success as the Consultant Psychiatrist at British Cycling and Sky ProCycling. The model has also been successfully applied in a number of other Team GB Olympic and Paralympic sports, professional sports and, more recently, in business and education.

In November 2011, Prof. Peters formed Chimp Management Ltd. The company’s team of consultants incorporates expertise and experience from Olympic sport, education, business and health. Each mentor has undergone in-depth training in the Model, and has worked with Dr Peters to extend its application and successful transference to different social settings. We work with individuals, teams and organisations, helping people in sport, business and education to make sense of the mind and develop skills to optimise how they operate in line with their goals. Our clients include: GB Cycling, UK Athletics, GB Canoeing, GB Taekwondo, GB Bobsleigh, British Equestrian Federation, British Fencing, as well as a number of City firms and secondary schools nationwide.
