Bessie's Cafe and Bistro is a new and exciting venture in the heart of Millhouses on Abbeydale Road, Sheffield. Day to day the cafe is a wonderfully relaxing and chilled environment. Fresh and modern decor that will make you feel at home, every effort is made to make you feel welcome.
Bessie's house coffee is Cafe Cereza which is a deliciously unique blend from Latin America.Sourced ethically. Cafe Cereza supports the Fundacion Monte Sion Neuvo Amanecer in El Salvador which helps to provide health care and support to their workers and families. Thumbs up to that!
The menu boasts a variety of homecooked, locally sourced dishes that caters for all. A vegan menu has been designed especially so everyone is catered for. Find a selection of in-house baked cakes, brownies, scones and more!

By night, Bessie's transforms into a perfectly quirky, cosy and fabulous place to eat. Boasting a great success with their Bistro nights so far - Bessie's is hoping to get a name for their different take on eating out. So far their menus have been based on cuisines from around the world (Sri Lankan, Greek, Spanish and Persian) and have they have achieved a top review in Life and Style Magazine quoting 'the best kept secret in Sheffield' and 'fantastic food with exceptional service' - must be doing something right!
