Stannington Library Company Information
General information
STAND (Stannington & District Library group) was formed in 2013 after two public meetings that explored the issues raised by Sheffield City Council's announced withdrawal of support for Stannington Library
Since then, the group has been formalised and a committee has been formed with teams of volunteers recruited.
The formal bid to take over management of Stannington Library was successful and now the real work begins - running Stannington Library as a community facility for the benefit of the people of Stannington
