We are one of the leading law schools in the UK, and have been educating law students for over a century. We attract exceptionally well qualified students but remain committed to ensuring that students from all sections of society have the opportunity to study our established and respected programmes.
The 2008 Research Assessment Exercise awarded our School an outstanding rating that reflected the international quality of our research. We host four research centres that both supervise research students and support research-based postgraduate taught programmes.
All our teaching is inspired by our four main research centres: Business Law; Criminal Justice; European Law and Legal Studies; and International Governance. The direct link from the School’s research centres to undergraduate teaching ensures that the teaching is relevant, focused and delivered by leaders in the field.
Our new £12m purpose-built building provides students with the very best in facilities and complements the high quality of teaching and student experience which you will find within its walls.
