General information
Woodhouse Community Centre has been at its present location on Woodhouse Street in Leeds since Victorian times. It was managed by Leeds City Council as a community centre for the past few decades. It’s still a community centre, but it was refurbished and reopened by Oblong in early 2012. We hope you’ll like the improved facilities and find it easy to use the space and participate here. All kinds of things go on at Woodhouse Community Centre: healthy cooking classes, family celebrations, community fun days, drumming classes, meditation, exercise classes, youth activities, Spanish lessons, counselling sessions, English courses, IT learning, video production, a food co-operative, a parent-toddler music group...and there are new things starting up all the time!
