It is not our goal to be the biggest, fastest or cheapest. Our vision is to be the waterproofing, painting brand that always delivers on its’ promises, that is trusted and relevant in the lives and close to the hearts & minds of all of our clients.
Jako had been running a modest business in Gauteng and later in the Western-Cape that did painting works, Craig had been involved in various property investments and Gordon had worked in the waterproofing industry. In 2013, a badly executed redecoration project that was conducted by a contractor who clearly had not followed the manufacturer specifications and had no intention honouring their guarantee, got Jako and Craig talking about the need for a strong ethical painting contracting brand that can be trusted. After comparing notes on how technology can be incorporated into the application, project management and communication, Jako and Craig secured their first 80 unit complex under the newly-formed SUPERSEAL brand. The excellent workmanship was noted by the neighbouring complex of 100 units, who then invited SUPERSEAL to tender. Disillusioned with the empty promises that his previous employers had been making to clients, and encouraged by SUPERSEAL’s vision to deliver on its promises, Gordon joined Jako and Craig in 2015. In early 2016 we saw the need to empower our existing employees by offering them the opportunity to acquire shares within SUPERSEAL, so that today we are a truly BB-BEE company.
